Some infections can pass to another person through unprotected sex. Infections spread in this way are known as sexually transmitted infections.
At Chrisp Street Health Centre we can provide free sexual health tests and advice for several infections including Chlamydia & HIV.
Remember: You don’t need to have lots of sexual partners to get an infection. If you would like to have a test at the Practice, our staff will be able to book an appointment for you (tel. 0207 515 4860). Safer sex involves using condoms correctly every time you have sex. If you don’t use a condom you are more at risk of getting a sexually transmitted infection. If required, some local pharmacies are able to supply free emergency contraception. In addition, if you are under 25, several local pharmacies can provide free condoms through the Condom Distribution Scheme.
